Today was one of those days that could easily have become one that starts with a to-do list yet by 3 o clock you find you've not started and the day disappears in a frustrating grump.
Thankfully a post lunch planting session got me back on track (mostly done by Tash and Alfie and it was great fun seeing them in action together) and come dinner not only were our seeds in warm little composty pots but even the been-broken-since-we-moved-in bannisters were fixed. Its one of the pre NZ jobs, and also means I don't have to wonder if one of the 'things that go bump in the night' is my daughter base jumping from our landing!
